He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Newton Gaskins and Georgia Ruth Mattox Gaskins; and his former wife Kathy Gaskins. He is survived by: his wife Alyssa Roy Gaskins; his children, Joseph Charles Gaskins of Jacksonville, Kim Blackman, Crystal Anderson (David) of Callahan and Joy Riggs of Fernandina Beach; his grandchildren, Marcus, Coby Gaskins, Matthew, Courtney, Seth, Chase Blackman, Evelyn Gaskins and Ivey Riggs; his great grandchild Leia Blackman; and his sister Rhonda Little of Alma.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (3343 Beulah Church Rd, Alma, GA 31510). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
