Grace Cothern Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2025, at the age of 86, Grace Cothern (Alma, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Grace may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Cothren and Emma Taylor Cothren; her husband James Henry Cothern; her son Larry Cothern; and her granddaughters, Mandi and Wendi Cothern.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Bruce Cothern of Alma and Sherry Yearty; and her grandchildren, Shannon Taylor (Jeffrey) of Alma and Adam Yearty. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and nine great- great grandchildren.
