She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Marvin Jordan and Ruby Isabelle Henderson Jordan; her husband James Clifton Medders; and her siblings, Winifred Williams, Willene Turner and Edward Jordan.

She is survived by: her daughter LaGena Peacock (Ricky) of Douglas; and her grandchildren, Blake Spivey (Sabrina), Leah Lee (Chris) and Shana Harper (Clay). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
