He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawton D. Boatright and Lottie Thornton Boatright; and his siblings, Fred Boatright, Gene Boatright and Judy Boatright.
He is survived by: his close friend Wanda Whitley; his sons, Danny Boatright (Brandi) and Chuck Boatright of Jacksonville, FL; and his sisters, June Strickland of Blackshear and LaFaye Cravey of Jacksonville, FL.. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
