He was predeceased by: his parents, Quitman Boatright and Margurite Padgett Boatright. He is survived by: his wife Judy Stewart Boatright; his children, Daniel "Bo" Boatright and Brandy Boatright Smith (Randall); his grandchildren, Destiny Smith, J. R. Smith and Mark Smith; and his sisters, Jeanine Lamb (Del), Joan Herrington (G. C.) and Pam Baldwin (James).
