He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Dural and Margaret Griner Sweat, Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Marilynn Mobley, James Norris and Neil Tanner.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Tanner Sweat of Alma; and his sister-in-law Marikaye Hyers of Blackshear. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (3343 Beulah Church Rd, Alma, GA 31510).
