With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Setsuko Haga Thrift of Allenhurst, Georgia, who passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kimayp Haga and Akitane Haga of Japan. She is survived by: her son John Thrift (Connie) of Liberty County; her grandsons, Johnathan Thrift (Shawnea) of Long Beach, CA and Justin Thrift of Gumbranch, GA; and her great grandchildren, Waylon Thrift of Long Beach, CA, Ava Thrift of Guyton, GA and Millie Kate Thrift of Gumbranch, GA..
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating at the service will be limited, social distancing will be observed, and the wearing of masks is required to attend.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Thrift's family requests donations be made to the Gumbranch Baptist Church Building Fund, 8590 Highway 196 West, Hinesville, GA 31313.
