He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Thrift and Setsuko Thrift. He is survived by: his wife Connie Crosby Thrift; his sons, Johnathan Waylon Thrift (Shawnea) of Long Beach, CA and Justin Eldred Thrift (Harley) of Gum Branch, GA; his grandchildren, Waylon, Ava, Millie Kate and Isabel; his cousins, Linda, Gloria, Oletha, Donna and Tracy; his sisters-in-law, JoAnn, Mary Ellen and Bertie; and his pet Jade. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Gum Branch Baptist Church, 8590 Highway 196 West, Hinesville, GA 31313.
