He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil L. Fischer and Jeannette Czajkowski Fischer; and his brothers, Robert and Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Jayne Spearman Fischer; his daughters, Stefanie Smith (Eddie) of Allenhurst, GA and Monica Robbins of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Christina Mallard (Clint) of Odum, GA, Jessica Jones (Zach) of Colorado Springs, CO, Emily Robbins of Davenport, IA and David-Edward Cody Smith of Hinesville, GA.; and his great grandchildren, Loretta "Retta", Averi, Maxine-Kay "Maxi", Johnathan "JJ" Mallard, Beau, Carter Jones and Lucas Robbins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or The COPD Foundation.
