She was predeceased by: her sisters, Phyllis, Audrey of Bronwood, GA, Doris Goode of Albany, GA, Vera Hall (Morrell) of Athens, GA and Nell Etheridge of Auburn, GA; and her son Chuck Smith of Albany, GA..
She is survived by: her children, Scott Smith (Betty) of Perryville, MO and Mauri Smith of Canton, GA; her grandchildren, Lauren Graf (Mike) of Jackson, MO, Julie Mabry (Mac) of Glen Allan, MS, Tori Davis (Otto) of Jackson, MO and Tessa Gullette (Zach) of Wapakoneta, OH; her great grandchildren, London, Sydney, Kaleb, Mila, Jack, Molly Rae, Mary Mac, Abbi, Hayes and Emmy; her nephews, Mel Hall (Judy) of Atlanta, GA, Wade Etheridge (Anita) and Don Etheridge; and her grandchildren, Evelyn and Isla Keller.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home (375 U. S. Hwy 19, Leesburg, GA 31763). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Wilson Hospice House of Albany.
