With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Poitevint of Albany, Georgia, born in Dade City, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Patterson and Sarah Sullivan Patterson; and her husbands, Bennie Joe Poitevint, Sr. and Winn-Dixie. She is survived by: her sons, Bennie Joe Poitevint, Jr. (Teresa) of Albany and Mike Poitevint (Teri) of Albany; and her grandchildren, Heather Coglaiti (Gerald), Haley Whatley (Dave), Lindsey Tucker (Charlie), B. J. Poitevint (Tori), Josh Poitevint (Mallory) and Kayla Miller (John). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Pinecliff Baptist Church, 8193 Pinecliff Road, Camilla, Ga. 31730.
