It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Whitley of Alapaha, Georgia, born in Romulus, New York, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Patsey Gandiana and Doris Thompson Gandiana; and her brother Dominic Gandiana. She is survived by: her husband Terrell Whitley of Alapaha; her daughters, Candi McClellan (Russ) of Alapaha, Niki Whitley of Perry and Dorrie Whitley of Alapaha; her siblings, Jo Golden (Gene) of Lakeland, Win Gandiana of Live Oak, FL and Phil Gandiana of Live Oak, FL; her grandchildren, Jeremy Willis (Hilary), Whitley Royals (Bryan), Kenny Wilson, Krista Wilson, Kiersten Wilson and Kyler Boyd; and her great grandchildren, Brylee Royals, Wren Royals, Jude Willis and Paisley Fountain. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
