He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Robert Simpson and Irene Bailey Simpson; his wife Julia Faye Smith Simpson; his children, Robert Steve and Janet Virginia Simpson; his grandchildren, Hunter and Destinee Wolfe; and his siblings, Doris Burnett and Marvin Simpson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julia Alday (Ramon) and Jenny Jolly; his grandchildren, Ashley and Heather Lopez; and his great grandchildren, Tomas Lopez, Olivia Lopez and Francis Scott.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Baker Funeral Home & Crematory (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM.
