With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Othell Purvis of Alapaha, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertley Alexander and Alice Griner Alexander; her husband John Keith Purvis; and her siblings, Marie Alexander, Marm Spires and O. G. Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Daphne Taylor (LaWayne) of Nashville and Keith Purvis (ReeJeana) of Alapaha; her grandchildren, Bryce Phillips, Kade Purvis, Ryder Taylor, Gunner Taylor, Hunner Taylor and Tunner Taylor; her great grandchildren, Tyson and Ripp Taylor; her siblings, Elouise Iverson (Clarence) of Newnan, Jackie Smith of Valdosta and Darrell Alexander (Ernestine) of Nashville; and her sister-in-law Betty Purvis of Alapaha. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
