It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Brown Hanson (Alapaha, Georgia), who passed away on April 24, 2018, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Kenny Mack Brown and Elmon Griner. She is survived by: her parents, Steve Michael Brown of Alapaha and Peggy Griner Brown of Alapaha; her husband Richard Hanson of Enigma; her children, James Andrew Hanson of Sycamore, Hailey Hanson and Lydia Hanson; and her grandmothers, Martha Lorene Fallin of Alapaha and Vernell Griner of Alapaha. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles.
