He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. A. E. Bishop and Cathryn Bullard Bishop; his daughter Michelle Bishop Todd; and his brother Rev. Carl Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bishop of Alapaha; his children, Nicole Bishop of Middleburg, FL and Hank Bishop of Nashville; his sister Barbara Davis of McBean, GA; his grandchildren, Sebastian Todd (Michaela) of Robbinsville, NC and Cathryn Lowe (Zachary) of Aberdeen, NC; and his great grandchildren, Hayleigh, Grace, Brentley, Calliope, Amelia and Emersen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nashville Methodist Church (304 S Berrien St, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
