He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis William Bristol and Lois Barr Bristol; his siblings, Ruth Hendley, Frances Bristol, Ruby Bristol, A. J. Bristol and Junior Bristol; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Bristol.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Lane Bristol of Alapaha; his children, Rebecca Warren (Michael) of Alapaha, Bill Bristol of Alapaha and Stacey Bristol (Kacy) of Alapaha; his grandchildren, Chris Bristol of TyTy, Kayla Bristol of Alapaha, Zach Bristol (Abigail Tedder) of Nashville, Deidra Rowe (Josh) of Alapaha, Taylor Williams (Deonte) of Nashville, Luke Griffin of Alapaha, Payton Warren of Alapaha, Noah Bristol of Alapaha, Madelyn Richardson of Sale City and Riley Richardson of Sale City; and his great grandchildren, Emmi, Brynlee and Dixie Grace. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
