He is survived by: his parents, Mary Jane and Hugh Peterson of Ailey; his siblings, Hugh Peterson III (Elizabeth) of Atlanta, Richard Russell Peterson of Atlanta and Patience Eunice Peterson of Atlanta; and his nieces, Sarah Jane Peterson and Katherine Patience Peterson.
