He was predeceased by: his parents, J. J. Hutchison and Emma Lee Skinner Hutchison; and his brothers, Roy Hutchison and Robert Hutchison. He is survived by: his wife Kaye Hutchison of Ailey; his sons, Mark Hutchison (Connie) of Baxley and Kevin Hutchison (Barbara) of Ailey; and his grandchildren, Katie Hutchison of Baxley, Michaela Hutchison and Kevin Hutchison II of Ailey. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
