With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Hazel Smallpiece of Ailey, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Hazel left this world on November 3, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John David Coleman and Mattie Mae Grinstead Coleman; her son Carl Smallpiece; and her siblings, J. C. Coleman, Colleen Rogers and Betty Jean Cason.
She is survived by: her brother Bobby Coleman (Ellen); her daughter Carol Foskey; and her grandson Stacy Smallpiece (Nichole) of Ailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sammons Funeral Home (4201 W Main St, Soperton, GA 30457). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Williams Chapel at Sammons Funeral Home (4201 W Main St, Soperton, GA 30457). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mount Vernon Cemetery (209 Church St, Mt Vernon, GA 30474).
