He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, James Chandler Peterson, Jr. of Phoenix and Thaxton T. Peterson (Sara) of Phoenix; his adoptive daughter Miriam Peterson Antolik of Phoenix; and his grandchildren, Sydney Peterson, Thaxton Peterson II, Sawyer Peterson, Scotland Peterson, Jason and Sarah Peterson.
