He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard D. Grinstead and Margaret T. Grinstead; and his siblings, Mack Grinstead, Carolyn Grinstead and Mary Ellen Newsome.
He is survived by: his brother Steve Grinstead (Reba) of Soperton, GA; and his close friend Sylvia Frost of Ailey, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his canine companion.
