He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Thomas and Bertie Hutcheson Blizzard; his wife Martha Jeanette Barwick Blizzard; and his siblings, Charles G. Blizzard, Olon Lamar Blizzard, Kathryn Brantley, Sarah Nell Boulineau and Margaret Blizzard.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Blizzard (Robin) of Seymour, TN. and Janet Corbett (Larry) of Grayson, GA.; his grandchildren, Sarah Marie Merrill (Curt), Benjamin Blizzard, Amanda Corbett, Ryan Corbett (Taylor) and Jennifer Corbett; his great grandchild Amelia Merrill; and his sisters, Joanne Blizzard Ledford of Wrightsville, GA and Linda Blizzard Joiner of Wrightsville, GA..
