He was predeceased by: his parents, H. C. Irvin and Janie McRae Irvin; and his brothers, Sidney McLain Irvin and William McRae Irvin (Billy Mac). He is survived by: his wife Joan Rowland Irvin; his children, Wayne "Noot" Irvin (Karen), Regina Harrell (Mike), Renee Martin, Jay DeWayne Irvin (Kristie), Jeff Eno (Kristi) and Missy Eno; and his sister Linda Winn (Walter). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a niece and a nephew.
