We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 87, Triena Cox of Adrian, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garfield McKuhen and Madie Beasley McKuhen; her husband Wiley Cox; her sister Linda Scott; her grandson Devan Thompson; and her great grandchild Jay Judy.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa K. Kennedy (Hank) of Rentz, Avon Misty Hadden (Gene) of Adrian, Travis E of Adrian and Ricky Hadden (Lynda) of Adrian; her siblings, Sybil Wick of Loganville, GA. and Eddie McKuhen (Anna) of Loganville; and her grandchildren, Nikki Hadden, Marie Kennedy Judy (Brandon), Matt Kennedy, Blake Thompson, Chasity Thompson of Brittani Thompson, T. J, Grant (Jessica), Melissa Sheme (Matt) and Terrael Surrency (Bubba).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Durden - Hudson Funeral Directors (206 E Pine St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peebles Curry Memorial Chapel (206 E Pine St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (10 Mt Zion Church Rd, Adrian, GA 31002).
