He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Lamar "Tarbucket" Braswell and Adrice Loretta Cooper Braswell; his wife EllaVee Reagin Braswell; his former wife Clara Susie Peebles; his daughter Cathy Braswell; and his siblings, Bobby Braswell, Linda Poole and Janeen Odell Oglesby.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ronella Hobby of Augusta, GA, Gale Smallwood (James), JoAnn Gruby (Rick) of Canoochee, GA, Wayne Braswell of Swainsboro, GA and Janette Simmons (Jackey); his grandchildren, Christian Tyler McKenzie, Amber Reagin Allen, Caitlin Joyce Kritz, Chase Anthony Braswell, Jordan Leigh Braswell, Lee Hightower, Shane Poole and Nicole Poole; and also, Sharon McKenzie (Rick) of Nolensville, TN, Dane Braswell of Adrian, GA, Jeffery Braswell of East Dublin, GA and Marsha Hightower Poole (Terry) of East Dublin, GA. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
