It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvie Wilson Stephens of Adrian, Georgia, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Wilson and Sallie Durden Wilson. She is survived by: her daughters, Deloris Whaley (Barry) and Sally Knight; her grandchildren, Renee Peloquin, Jennifer Davis, Kristy Phillips and Travis Knight; her niece Marlene Liddell; and her brother W. J. Wilson. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Survivors include -- 2 daughters-- Deloris Whaley (Barry), Sally Knight, Grandchildren-- Renee Peloquin, Jennifer Davis, Kristy Phillips, and Travis Knight, 7 great grandchildren, special niece-- Marlene Liddell, brother-- W. J. Wilson, Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, social distancing and the use of face coverings is recommended.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Norristown Missionary Baptist Church in memory of Melvie Stephens.
