Henry Charles Sanford Obituary

Age 66, of Adrian, GA, died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Dublinair Nursing Home in Dublin. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, January 26, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Rhine with Mr. Bobby Joe Ryals officiating. Henry was born in McRae, of the Baptist faith, was a lifelong logger, retired employee of Hercules, Inc., and a family farm manager for the last 10 years.

He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Henry was son of the late Ethel Bowen Sanford and Tommy Sanford, Sr. and was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Sanford, Jr. Survivors: Daughter – Kristy Sanford Seidel (Gavin) of Jupiter, FL; 2 Sons – Henry Charles Sanford, Jr. and Walker Sanford both of Adrian; 3 Grandchildren – Asher Seidel, Paisley Strickland, and Kailee McDaniel; 5 Sisters – Annelle Spires of Eastman, Vivian Hutchinson, Rozelle Farmer both of Milledgeville, Faye Wells (Stanley) of Jacksonville, GA, and Ethelene Harrelson (Larry) of Lexington, NC; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
