He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebenezer Peebles and Bertie Moore Peebles; and his siblings, Margie Anderson, Nell King, James Peebles, Tommy Peebles and Tony Durden.
He is survived by: his wife Lue Virsey Peebles; his children, Linda Peebles Renfroe Hutcheson and Dorsey "Steve" Peebles (Sharon); his sister JoAnn James (Joe); his grandchildren, Kriston R. Watkins (Robert), Lane Underwood (Jody) and Brian Peebles (Mary); and his great grandchildren, Gabby Watkins, Gavin Watkins, Raven Watkins, Judson Underwood and Ava Underwood. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
