She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Garrett, Jr.; and her brother Paul Garrett. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Thigpin of Adrian; her children, Clinton Travis Thigpin (Roxanna) of Adrian and Jennifer Thigpin McDaniel (Eric) of Adrian; her mother Emma Garnto Garrett of Soperton; her granddaughters, Faith McDaniel and Amelia Thigpin; and her sister Cathy Fordham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Bethsaida Baptist Church Cemetery (2519 US-80, Dublin, GA 31021).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
