She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Garrett, Jr.; and her brother Paul Garrett. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Thigpin of Adrian; her children, Clinton Travis Thigpin (Roxanna) of Adrian and Jennifer Thigpin McDaniel (Eric) of Adrian; her mother Emma Garnto Garrett of Soperton; her granddaughters, Faith McDaniel and Amelia Thigpin; and her sister Cathy Fordham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
