He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Cox Ramirez of Wrightsville and Selena Scott of Grey; his grandchildren, Jeese Sam, Naomi Whitworth, Alicia Plata, Angelica Ramirez and Max Ramirez, Jr.; his siblings, Wiley Cox of Adrian and Mary Peebles of Swainsboro; and also, JoAnne Walker of Swainsboro, Bonnie Faye Hutcheson of Swainsboro and Margie Lumpkin of Adrian. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
