It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Prowse of Adel, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Anderson and Marie Anderson; his daughter Ann Marie Prowse; and his sister Carol Rice. He is survived by: his wife Linda Prowse of Adel; his children, Billy Prowse (Tiara) of Greeneville, TN, Robert Santos (Jaime) of Denver, CO, Michael Shaun Swenson of Cincinnati, OH, Matthew Richard Swenson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Pamela Knight (Bill) of Greeneville, TN, Amanda Buynack (Steve) of Adel and Michelle Swenson (Yenni) of Cincinnati, OH; and his sisters, Arlene Hensley (Cale) of Greeneville, TN and Darlene Duke (Ray) of Greeneville, TN. He is also survived by several grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Purvis Funeral Home (207 E Mitchell St, Adel, GA 31620).
