He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lovett Connell; his daughter Heather Charmaine Ash; his granddaughters, Lily Batlle and Rose Ash; his siblings, James Connell, Jr. (Irina), Jerry Connell (Lynn) and Cindy Tillman Plymel (David); and his nieces and nephews, James Connell, III (Meghan), Thomas Connell (Gladys), Edward Lash (Melissa), Jason Tillman (Liza), Ashley Meade (Keith), Christy Boyd, Alyssa Boyd (Lee), Amanda Tillman Ramshead (Patrick) and Mary Beth Whitelaw (James). He is also survived by numerous great nephews and nieces, cousins and other beloved family members.
