She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Daniel Wood and Sarah Effie Whitehurst Wood; and her siblings, Dan Wood, Ben Wood, Frank Wood, Neill Wood and Mary Jane Hayes.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Levy of Braselton, Georgia; her granddaughter Ashley Levy of Marietta, Georgia; her nephews, Brad Hayes and Eric Hayes of Adel; and her sister-in-law Mildred Wood of Adel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sparks Methodist Church (205 N Goodman St, Sparks, GA 31647). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Sparks City Cemetery (150 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Adel, GA 31647).
