He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearce Russell Elkins and Von Cile Morgan Elkins. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Lennard Elkins of Adel; his children, Amanda Green (Dennis) of Pensacola, FL and Brian Elkins of Panama City, FL; his grandchildren, Bradie Kay and Trace; and his brother Lance Elkins of Thomasville.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nashville Methodist Church (304 S Berrien St, Nashville, GA 31639). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
