He was predeceased by: his parents, William Luther Brinson and Doris Roberts Brinson; his stepdaughter Kathleen; and his grandchild Peyton. He is survived by: his wife Joy Leverett Brinson; his children, Rodney "R. J." L. Brinson, Jr. and Chakara Brinson Pittman; his grandchildren, Jaylen Rentz, Anthony Pittman, McKylee Rentz, Liam Brinson, Waylan Brinson, Greyson Brinson and Dakota Brinson; his aunt Maomie Roberts; and his uncles, Theron Roberts, Pete Brinson, Ronnie Brinson and Billy Brinson. He is also survived by extended family members and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Cobb Funeral Chapel (2441 Camilla Hwy, Moultrie, GA 31768). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Calendar Cobb Funeral Chapel (2441 Camilla Hwy, Moultrie, GA 31768).
