It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Bennett Shierling of Adel, Georgia, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jackson "Buddy" Bennett and Minnie Thelma Taylor Bennett; her daughter Stacey McDowell; and her brother Jack Bennett. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Shierling of Adel; her son Clay Shierling of Adel; her son-in-law Scott McDowell of Adel; her grandchildren, Lane Shierling of Adel, Jaxson Shierling of Adel, Ty McDowell (Taylor) of Tifton, Zane McDowell of Adel, Leanna (Josh Southerland) and Jena (Tunner Taylor); her great grandchild Addison Southerland of Sparks; her brother J. G.; and her siblings-in-law, Debra Bennett of Adel, B. J. and Zippy Vonier of Thomasville, Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
