She was predeceased by: her father Jackson Duncan Friar; and her sister Shirley Griffin. She is survived by: her niece Tina George of Adel; her sons, Johnny Mack George (Kelli) of Leesburg and Scot George of Cartersville, GA.; her grandchildren, Brittany George Allen, Tyler George, Laura Shiver (Jimmy) and Michael George (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Harper Allen, Haven Allen, Madilynn Shiver and Ellie Shiver; and her siblings, Junior Friar (Vernell) of Adel, Darrell Friar (Wanda) of Leesburg, Lavone Webb (Elton) of Valdosta and Betty Gunter. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
