It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Montez Fausett (Adel, Georgia), born in Hahira, Georgia, who passed away on March 21, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Calvert of Spartanburg and Faye Culpepper of Valdosta; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Fausett of Palmetto; her sister Audrey McNeal of Hahira; her niece Louise Williams of Hahira; her son Carroll Cowart; her stepsons, Pee Wee Fausett and Butch Fausett; her grandson Jon Calvert; and her siblings, Merrilene Martin, Margie Goodyear and Julian Hall. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and their spouses: Ricky and Janet Register, Vicky Hayes, Dawn and Kenny Draffen, Judy and Matt Cox, Jeff and Sandra Culpepper, Lori and Dick Campbell, Walter and Kristie Cowart, Joe Cowart, and Phillip and Megan Cowart; 22 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren.
