She is survived by: her children, Joe Simmons (Jeanette) of Tifton, Greg Simmons (Teresa) of Waycross and Essie Merritt of Adel; her grandchildren, Brad Simmons (Kim) and Becky Silvka; her great grandchildren, Delana Simmons, LaKota Simmons, Hannah Silvka, Josiah Silvka, Ariel Silvka, Gage TenHagen (Sara) and Malorie TenHagen; and her siblings, Lucy Myers (Oklan), Laverna Wright (Vernie), Carroll Purvis and Elmer Purvis (Lynn). She is also survived by several nephews, one niece, and several cousins.
