He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard G. Lindsey, Sr. and Opal Harrison Lindsey; and his sister Edna Gandy. He is survived by: his wife Marjie Bjordal Lindsey of Adel; and his children, Jeannie (Mike Mills), Alice (Anthony), Carolyn (Howard McClain), Gordon (Vicki Lindsey) and Andy (Rhonda Lindsey). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
