With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Mitchell (Adel, Georgia), born in Quitman, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2019 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lanny Mitchell, James Vincent Mitchell and Emily Mitchell Walker. He is survived by: his sister Martha Butler of Quitman; his nephews, Hunter Walker of Pace, Jim Walker of Goldsboro, N. C., Chris Walker of Alabaster, AL and Wes Butler of Memphis Tn; his niece Dollie Walker of Birmingham; his close friends, Beverly Rogers, Gary Ziegler, Dottie Aikens and Art Hughes; and also, Martha Butler and Dry Lake Rd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Quitman United Methodist Church Monday Morning Prayer Group, P O Box 857, Quitman, GA 31643.
