He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann "Pat" Cribbs; his sons, Don Chaney (Pam) of Hahira and Keith Chaney (Loretta) of Adel; his grandchildren, Lauren Chaney, Drew Chaney and Christopher Arnold; and his siblings, Anthony Chaney (Mary Ann) of Live Oak, FL and Yvonne Law (Scotty) of Live Oak, FL..
