She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Barta and Adella Pischel Barta; and her brother John Barta. She is survived by: her children, Krieg Failing (Ann) of Centennial, CO and Susan Whitson (Steve) of Monticello, FL; and her grandchildren, Katherine Richardson (Joseph), Margaret Andrews (Matt) and Shane Whitson.
