He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas "Buck" Daughtrey, Sr. and Gwendolyn Allen Rentz Daughtrey; and his son James Thomas "Jake" Daughtrey, III. He is survived by: his wife Ann Hull Daughtrey of Valdosta; his daughter Heather Daughtrey of Hahira, Georgia; his grandchildren, Gwendolyn Grace Daughtrey of Valdosta, James Porter Daughtrey of Hahira and Danny Autrey of Hahira; his brother Guy; his sister-in-law Connie Daughtrey of Lenox, Georgia; and his sister Virginia Henderson of Covington, Georgia.
