He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Jackson Moon and Mildred Cathryn Allen Moon; his wife Ann Best Moon; and his siblings, Allen Moon, Morgan Moon and Marion Harrod.
He is survived by: his grandson Patrick W. Moon (Meredith Moon); his great grandchildren, Alaina Moon of Hahira, Georgia and Garrett Moon of Hahira, Georgia; his grandson Jason B. Moon (Katrina Moon); his great grandchildren, Jackson Moon of Valdosta and Landon Moon of Valdosta; and also Garland Moon of Vidalia, Georgia.. He is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that monetary gifts be made to Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Dr., Valdosta, GA 31602.
