He was predeceased by: his father C. J. Powell; and his grandson Jack Powell. He is survived by: his mother Georgia Powell; his son Josh; his daughter-in-law Kellie Powell; his daughter Samantha Powell; his siblings, Chet Powell and Melanie Powell-Johnson; and his grandchildren, Braelynn and Ellie Kate. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
