She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha Swain and Mary Gaskins Swain; her husband Emory Griner; and her daughter-in-law Doreen Griner. She is survived by: her children, Alan Wayne Griner of Maryland, Lynn Dowis (David) of Buford, Nicki and Jeff of Nashville; her grandchildren, Chris Dowis and Ashley Dowis; her great grandchildren, Ethan Dowis and Addie Dowis; and her brother Bobby Swain (Judy) of Adel.
