It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dona Faye (Howze) Aguon of Adel, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gruver Howze and Thelma Howze; her husband John Raymond Aguon (Makaka); her brother Roy Nelson Howze; her brothers-in-law, Wendall Sumner, Ronnie Sumner and Buck Buchanan Whiddon; and her sister Vickie Diane Howze.
She is survived by: her children, David R. Aguon (Judy) of Valdosta, GA, Ana Camit (Peter) of Palm Coast, FL, Tony Aguon (Daniel McManimon) of Minneapolis, MN and Terry G. Aguon (Alexis Silverio) of Guam; her grandchildren, Shawna Faye Cabatu (Emersonn) of Panama City, FL and Shanelle Loraine Keefer (Andrew) of Orlando, FL; her great grandchildren, Alana Faye Camit-Cabatu and Emmelyn Loraine Camit-Cabatu; her sisters, Virginia Sumner of Adel, GA, Opal Sumner of Hahira, GA and Jane Whiddon of Tifton, GA; and her sister-in-law Janice King Howze of Clyo, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
