He is survived by: his wife Christal Friar of Adel; his children, Dustin Jackson Friar and Heather Janaye Welch (Billy) of Adel; his father J. D. Friar, Jr of Adel; his sister Charlotte "Cindy" Frost (David) of Adel; and his mother-in-law Ola Mae Hamilton of Moultrie. He is also survived by many sister and brother in laws, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
